About Me

Hi there. I’m reporter at WAMU, the NPR station in Washington, D.C., where I cover health and other general assignment stories. Before that, I was a reporter at WABE where I traveled around Georgia covering healthcare, immigration and state politics.

My work has often appeared nationally on NPR and Marketplace. I was a 2017-18 investigative reporting fellow with Reveal, where I investigated conditions at an immigrant detention center in Georgia. I’ve reported on issues ranging from the death penalty to rural healthcare to business.

I was honored to receive the 2015 “Rising Star Award” from the Atlanta Press Club, a recognition given to the city’s top journalists under 30.
