About Me

I’m reporter at WAMU, the NPR station in D.C. Previously, I was a reporter WABE in Atlanta where I covered health, immigration and state politics.  My work has appeared on NPR, MarketplaceWNYC, and the New York Daily News among others.  I was a 2017-18 investigative reporting fellow with Reveal.

I graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in 2013, where I honed my multimedia skills and hosted a podcast, Audiofiles. I’m adept at covering stories using a variety of mediums, including audio, video for the web, text and infographics. I am also passionate about covering diverse communities and believe that news should strive to be reflective of the communities they serve.

I was honored to receive the “Rising Star Award” from the Atlanta Press Club in 2016.
